The fractional CO2 laser technique is considered the gold standard treatment of wrinkles and signs of photoageing. The skin is regenerated using laser energy beams, in the form of thermal micro columns which penetrate the deep dermis, enabling the production of substantial amounts of collagen, tightening the skin considerably.
The application of anaesthetic cream is necessary for this treatment. It is also advisable to take oral antiviral medication for two days before and two days after treatment.

Care Afterwards
Recovery time for this treatment is up to 15 days, during which time there may be swelling, redness, skin erosions/exudate, followed by scab formation from day two. The face must be washed in the way indicated with the use of a specific cream.
This treatment must be carried out during the winter months, with the use of SPF 50 sun protection being mandatory.
Session Duration
30 to 40 minutes.
Appearance of results
After 7 days, improvement increases for up to 6 months after treatment.
